北上E&Beエフエム – Episode 279 (11月25日) きっかけづくりプロジェクトの4回目

On this week’s Catch The Rainbow, we hear from a guest speaker from the Kitakami Regional Development Department, or the Chiikizukuri-Ka. She runs through the stats from last Sunday’s Kikkake Zukuri Project, the last installment of the project for the year. Foreign residents and locals alike learned how to ride the bus and then headed to a farmers market together for shopping. We’ll add photos soon in a separate post, but for now, listen along below!

北上E&Beエフエム – Episode 257 (6月18日)

On this week’s episode of Catch The Rainbow, we get a recap from Keiko about the Kikkake Zukuri Project held earlier this month, and look toward the next one– Sports! Next Kikkake Zukuri Project will be July 14th, at the Ezuriko Chiku Kouryu Center, and will feature interesting sports that we may not be so aware of yet– Kin Ball and Boccia!

We also talk briefly about the upcoming field trip, and touch on notable rose gardens. Keiko’s favorite? The Rose Gardens of Versailles. Wow!

Field Trip Details + 北上E&Beエフエム – Episode 251 (5月6日)

On this week’s episode of Catch The Rainbow, the Kitakami International Assembly Hall’s radio corner on E&Be FM, we hear from Keiko on a national holiday about our Field Trip plans for later this year. We will head to the coast via bus to make “chikuwa” and “iikama,” then do one of two things: A boat excursion on the Sanriku Sea, or exploring Ryusendo Cave. Or possibly, both!

Field Trip Details:
When: 7/21 (Sunday), 8:30 (departure from Kitakami City hall) to 5:30 (ish)
Who: 30 individuals (around half and half Japanese residents and Foreign residents with priority for registered volunteers)
Cost: Around 4,000 (not yet exactly decided, paid by the first part of June)

北上E&Beエフエム – Episode 250 (4月29日)

On Catch The Rainbow #250, Keiko talks about going to Concord for the 50th anniversary of our sister-city relationship. We’ll depart Kitakami and head for Concord on the first of October and spend about a week there. Listen in for discussions of homestays and travel plans, and give us a call if you’re interested in joining us for this momentous excursion!
